PSEI Stocks Latest List (PSE Index) Companies in 2024

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index consists of the following blue chip companies. They are typically the top 30 giant companies in the Philippines, with the greatest market capitalization (usually in billions).

We are sharing here the BBP (Buy-Below-Price) and TP (Target Price) of each stock to guide many investors wanting to flip or invest with these stocks at the trends.

What is PSEI? If you want to learn more about PSEI, we have published a detailed post about it here: PSEI Stocks.

Why should You Invest PSEI stocks?

Because you should. These companies are the crème of the crop of the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Having stocks of these companies is like having your own money machines.

Why?

Because they have been here in ages.

They have been here for quite some time now making profit and establishing their own brand.

Because they will likely stay for more years to come.

They are the Gryffindor of the house…the dragons of the throne.

If you are checking out about what’s happening in the stock market here, the first thing you must check is the PSEI.

Many fund houses in the Philippines also use the PSEI as benchmark for their portfolios.

If you are a passive investor, I’m sure you have many of these stocks. And I’m sure you are smiling right now.

  1. Hi, when was the table for the Buy Below Price updated? I’m new in trading and a bit confused. for example, AC’s closing today (Sept 6,2022) is at 721.0000 but on the table Buy Below Price for AC is 750?

    Thanks! 🙂

  2. Hi Ms. Fehl,

Hope you are doing okay. I have some RLC stocks and my average price is P22.50. Current market price is P15. The BBP is P20.75 while TP is P24.90. With the current situation, can you advise whether should I BUY, SELL or HOLD my RLC stocks?

Thank you and keep safe. God bless

    • Hi 🙂 Thank you. Hope you are well and happy. In the current situation for PH stocks, if I have gains already even if it’s as little as 5%, I’d sell my shares and take profit. The reason is that, the economy is paralyzed and earnings fell down. It will take some months for companies to recover losses, thus it will take time for our stocks to recover again.

However, if I have unrealized loss (or red on my portfolio), I’d hold my shares and wait for few months to recover and finally close profit. The reason is that, my number one rule in investing is not to lose money. 3rd rule is investing only in high-quality stocks 🙂 God bless!

      • Thank you Ms. Fehl! Noted on your advice and appreciate for sharing your insights.

Currently RLC is red on my portfolio. My dilemma right now is whether to HOLD and wait it to turn green before selling? or should I BUY with a cheaper price (15.7) now to pull my average share price down, turning green faster, then SELL?

        Reply
        • Hi LQH 🙂 RLC is a great company, yes it’s better to buy shares at the dip to average the cost down than realize loss now. If you don’t need the money pa naman, wait for the greens 🙂

  3. Good Day Ms. Fehl. Am told na unless I sell unrealised loss lang even if negative figures. I can wait po but my investment shows -85% na on CHP. What’s the best option I have? Pano po kung magclose or declare bankrupt yung company? What will happen with my stocks? Thanks to advice. And keep safe and healthy.

    Reply
    • Hi Perla 🙂 If you see negative or unrealized losses, you will incur loss of money only when you closed or sold your shares. You can hold your shares as long as you want. It’s you who decide how much longer you continue to do that depending on your situation. If you ask me what will I do to -85% unrealised loss, I would continue to hold my shares since I can endure this kind of risk especially in this pandemic situation. Many companies have shut down, economies around the world are paralyzed, earnings are lower. Less income flowing, not much movement. Everything is not normal. It’s obvious why stocks are bearish. I won’t sell on panic. My number one rule in investing, don’t lose money. 🙂 Now, it’s up to you 🙂

If the company went bankcrupt, their stocks might as well be de-listed in the exchange. Do not let that happen ever. Number 3 rule in investing, only invest in high-quality stocks from stable (strong) companies.

  4. Hi Ms. Fehl what can you say about ABS? What do you think will happen in the next few months? How will their current issue affect their stocks short-term and long-term?

    Reply
    • ABS is a kind of stock I would not personally invest for long term. That’s why I only listed it under the flipping stocks. Investors hate uncertainty. Right now, the status of ABS is very uncertain. Which makes speculators buy on the dip then sell when everything is settled with ABS. Of course, if you’re wise, and if you want to buy on the dip, make sure you only spend less money with it.

  13. Hi Ms. Fehl, How do you get your Target Price? Di ba dapat mas mataas ang Highest Price kaysa sa Target Price? Sa list na binigay mo sa taas, some of the Target Prices are higher than the Highest Price (e.g. AC: Highest is 1,116 and Target Price is 1,158, ALI: HP = 47.50; TP = 55; MBT: HP = 109.70 & TP = 120)

  21. HI Ms. Fehl,

TEL (PLDT) seems to be going downhill these past few days, and it is at 1,691.00 today. Looking at the chart, it seems to be in the support level now. Do you think it is good to buy it even if it’s not on the BBP on the table above?

    Thanks!

    • Tech companies like TEL always move on a bumpy trend. If you can take the risk for long term, TEL is a good choice but lessen your expectations as technology upgrades and downgrades, and so as tech companies

  23. Hello Ms. Fhel,

When will the BBP and TP be updated? Current price of some of the stocks are higher than the TP but per COL Technical Guide, the action is to BUY the stocks (e.g., JFC -> BBP is 145.83, TP is 175 and the current price is 249.8 but per COL Technical Guide, we should BUY this stock).

    Please advise. Thanks!

    • Do not look on the Technical Guide they are for active and short term trading. The values above are for Investment not Short Term Trading. Our lists are updated daily based from any significant valuations and adjustments. We don’t rely on COL alone. Cheers! 🙂

I have a question about JFC, it is one of the blue chip stocks and it’s BBP is 175. However, in the Magic 10 stocks it’s on BUY but the current price now is 230.
I’m confused now as to buy or not to buy..hope you could shed light about this.
    Many thanks!

    • Hi, JFC is listed among our Big 5 stocks. Those Big 5 stocks have no BBP because we invest them every month no matter what the price of the stock is following PCA method. We follow Target Term instead of Target Price for the Big 5. Big 5 stocks are selected stocks from companies with incredible performance, growth and stability.

Thank you po☺

    • Would just like to reply po. You could check possible stock picks for your portfolio in this blog po.

The financial analyst from a well known online brokerage said that she thinks DD is also a great company but she added that the stock is kind of expensive compared to others, the fact that the company is just starting to build hundreds of malls throughout the country, napaisip tuloy ako. but i’ll keep hold of my shares muna even though may resistance. sana mag breakout sa 40 para happy.. hehe

  31. Hi Fehl,

If I have 6k every month. Is it ok to buy three stocks (1 B5 and 2F5)? Or I just have to buy for one at a time? Kasi buying 3stocks for that worth means I can only buy at a minimum board lot which means tatlong beses akong may less na commission fee. Is it OK? Salamat. I love this site by the way.

  35. @RicoBlanco also, as I stated, I am not good at picking stocks, Miss Fehl is light-years ahead of me on this subject, but I can advise on how to do it and that is, listen to Miss Fehl and do your homework…Use her well tested lists…Make a list of who you like, but remember, now days, picking stocks based on likes, is not good, again, use Miss Fehl’s lists…Next, study the trends and mark them down, meaning the dates that were obviously large rise and falls in stock prices for your 10 stocks…Save it for the future, so you not have to do this again…Save all 10 of them in case you decide you no longer wish to hold on to 1234 Plastics and prefer to buy, 9876 Rubber Company…You need to graph the ones you like, to get a sense of the trends, for the past 3 to 5 years…About Gaming, in general, I have no idea…I invest in UITF’s, which is similar to a MF because money is pooled together, from many investors, is invested in stocks, bonds, bank deposits, property, mining, and so on…One thing I know about stocks is, you should not own just one, which is hard to do when you first start out, I know and I am sorry for that…You need to diversify, or in slang, spread the wealth…This is why I prefer UITF’s, the funds are already diversified for me, just like a Money Market Fund…A 52 week low? One thing about 2015, it did suck from August until now, but a lot of people made a lot of money because the lows were caused by people, insiders, and smart investors…Us newbies, are getting in I hope, on the new low, not the new ceiling…I did not see a 52 week low, but if there was one, it could be the new high and could get worse, we do have the threat of war, 3 more rate hikes from the USA- FED, oil is way down, but it should be, it was too high, you have the overall market correction, so Gosh, who knows?…I not see a 52 week low, I saw a lot of stock manipulations, especially in the UITF markets, bonds reacted as they should to the Federal reserve hike, so all seems normal to me, just too much playing around in the market…People made a lot of money which screwed some of honest people but as Miss Fehl, says, we are in a multiple correction, not correcting from a business trend but from a market manipulation game since late July 2015…I hope this helps, but Miss Fehl is tops on this stock stuff not me

  36. FIRST OFF: I am not Miss Fehl, nor do my opinions agree with or disagree with, Miss Fehl, or reflect that of her employer(s) but are only my own opinion(s), based on my mistakes and successes in investing, what others told me, good or bad, and advice, so here we go…Most important, you cannot rely on figures on any website, unless it is your banks and even then, read their claimer, it will give you LBM…To do so is to only get postings of information, which is old…It is the same as, going to the market and the sign says, “Fresh fish…” HUH? Well, first off, the fish is dead, so it is not fresh

Next, is, since the head is cut off, you do not know if the fish was dead, or sick, before being iced, since you could not see the eyes, or gills…And, was it frozen, flash frozen?

Am I being picky yes…Am I splitting hairs? Yes. This is your hard earned money…Have you ever eaten bad fish? How long were you sick? How much did it cost you to go to doctor? How much was the antibiotics? So, am I joking now?

What you read here, is what we call, an edge, but that edge can cut you, or you competitors, it is how you use it…You said you have not been on the website for a long time…WHY? This site is full of information and it is free, and no matter how old it is, it is better than what kuya Jojo or Bong bong told you

I am not trying to be funny, but to make an impact…I do not care how much money you have, but I want the people here, on Miss Fehl’s pages, and she does have pages, to make a profit…Next is, I want to see the people of the Philippines, to start saving money and investing, money, and to stop wasting money at SM malls and huge flat screen TV’s

I want to see more and more people, going to college, not working in bars, and get real jobs and less people working over seas, for slave wages…I want to see Filipinos, working in the Philippines, not in the Middle East, then coming home old and tired with no future…The only way to do this is knowledge and now you got more knowledge

If you are not logging on, what difference does it make if the information is updated, or not…You should know, if it is updated, by reading the page, regularly..

I signed up for e-mail updates….Did you guys?—-did you sign up, for e-mail updates to get you to log back in, right away when something new is posted? No one is making money on you, it is free, also

Please you guys, instant financial updates are very costly…You need to get on the internet, log into Bloomberg TV, and watch, using Google Chrome, Bloomberg Tv ASIA (Also, keep moving around from USA and Europe also, depending on time of day) and if you cannot afford the wifi, well, I not know what to say, you are at a disadvantage

I did not mean to offend anyone, but Miss Fehl, cannot update facts here as often as she would like…She would have to charge is a lot of money, so please, help her, by providing information as soon as you get it also and do reaserch on other site and bring it here…Gd bless from the heart

    • The answer to that question is complex, because politics, religion, world events, and stupid USA FEDERAL RESERVE, will not get off the CR pot, show some balut and raise rates…Going fast, so hang on, #1. August 24th, the cowardly USA FED, opened its mouth about raising rates, but failed to do, which would have helped the banking industry…This stopped the calm, gradual upward trend of the stocks, bonds, UITF’s, everything tanked, then began to go up…#2, Days later, Volkswagen was caught, selling care with illegal emission controls, which is not just required by the USA, but all civilized countries, #3. China, devaluation of the Yen, to stimulate its economy, due to investment and economy slow down, which was stupid, then Brazil, had a corruption issues, and this was all done in August September, 2015…#4. The FED had another meeting nothing was done, and had terrible job growth, #5. Now, it is forth quarter, November, in particular, which is always weak, this is why the holiday season was invented, such as Christmas, so as to allow retailer to unload left over stock, at high price…(Sorry, Google this information) #6. November, always has super highs, especially stocks and UITF’s, so see this get worse, just at the USA’s, Thanksgiving Holiday, and now, #7, we had a terrorist attack in probably one of the most peace loving countries, in the world, other than Belgium, Sweden, France, Italy, and so on, and this caused the market to go down more, more often, and not rise often enough….REPLY, we had more downs than ups, so, as the market tries to correct, it either goes sideways, meaning unchanged, or the rises were too slow or not enough, so we all sit and wait…Don’t worry, a lot of people made one hell of a lot of money, it just was not us, we are honest and peaceful…Will it go down more, yes, will it go up, of course…If the market does not go up, it is the time of the end and money has no value, anyways, simple as that

        • I talked too fast and my English was bad, I am super sorry, but in a nutshell, this is why it goes down so much since August…Everything was fine, before August, the market was growing, up and down, but crawling up, slowly, since 2008, but come August 24th 2015, all hell broke lose….I will be honest, I invested over 3 million Php in UITF’s, on August 3rd 2015, I thought everything was as far down as it can go, maybe little more down, but then, come August 24th, and all of them tanked, in the toilet, except for the ones I bought after the August 24th, paper tantrum9on the 27 I bought more) …That is a stock word, “Paper Tantrum..” I will tell you, I am scared also also..I have lost lots of money, for over what now? 3 or 4 months? All down, 6% to 12 % as of 2 days ago…It will go up for this week, but I heard the USA FED will get the jobs report, this Friday, and December 13th or 15th I think, they meet…I not think they have the balut to raise rates during holidays, so stupid, I want to scream, but they waited too long…So, if they raise in December, it will only be .25% until next year, me, I prefer they wait until March 2016…Please read what I said, before, about 3 or 4 times so you understand, because my English was so bad, and my Tagalog is worse, but this is a bad year, from 3rd quarter on til now, and even worse November…It will go up, so hold on, and if you can, but more, while it is low, because you are right, it is low right now, but we not know what low is? What is the new low? We know the old low, but now, as MIss Fehl said, it is in a correction, from the major, “Sell Offs..” another market term….I will tell you, the stinky smelly rich, sold all they had, to bring down the market and then bought back their own stocks..This is what is called flipping, by selling high and buying low, even if the high, was the low, 2 months ago…They flip any time after what is called the, “Holding period…” another term…You bought stocks, so you will not have a holding period, but you will need to make sure, you hold on to them, until they can pay for the broker fees and you earn, at the very least, passbook interest, which is around 2%…You will never lose money in the market, unless yo sell it to soon, too low…If I can sit on 3.5 Million, and wait to just break even, so can you guys out there…If this was easy, everyone would be doing it…God bless everyone and happy new year 2016

Just want to hear your thoughts po. Just a newbie here. Thanks and Godbless.

    • SHORT ANSWER: She is correct…I mouth off, a lot, about buying low and selling high, but you need to know, why the stock, or fund is low, right now, today, in the reality of things…Being the devil’s advocate, ask yourself; “Is this low, for this stock, right now, the NEW HIGH?” Meaning, for the next 2 to 10 months, is this stock going to falter, up and down, a peso here, or centavo there, or even crawl sideways, driving you nuts, making you angry, and then selling it, paying fees, and losing money, then blaming someone?

NOSE BLEED ANSWER: NO ONE knows where the market is, where it will go, when, if it is low, or high, out of character?…Is the low, the new high? Are we in a deflationary trend? Or in this case, and Miss Fehl, double check me on this, all stocks are down now, both bonds and equity funds, because of the time of the month, mid-November, time of year, 4th quarter, AND…. the US Fed, making threats that during their December meeting, there could be a rate hike, is still on the table…Before you even consider to take step 3, in buying a stock, you need to complete step 2 and that is did you graph the stocks you are WATCHING, and #1. read any graphs, already posted, to see a 3 or 5 years trend? Did you graph them, for over 3 months? Now, I will admit, this is hard to do this year, this time of year and with the US FED talking crap, with no balut to back it up, but you still need to do your job, even if the cowards at the USA FED, are not…Just because others are fools, lazy, or not doing thier jobs, you need to do yours, always…How does the USA FED, AFFECT YOUR STOCKS IN THE PHILIPPINES? You wanted to be respected right? You said the Philippines, was to be reckoned? WELL? Your country is now part of the rest of the world, and your stocks, bonds, funds, MMF, MF, have a Bloomberg ticker, index, and are on their website and the Pacific Asian Markets are talked about everyday…Everything, affects your stocks, especially the cowards at the US FED…Yes, buy now, or soon, stocks could still go down, again, especially right before the USA, Thanksgiving Day Holiday and the FED meeting, in December, but they will go up, but you need to read the trend charts and chart your own graphs, before you buy…Please, do your homework

  42. Hi Fehl, do you subscribe to TRC and receives godswhispers? Is that how you got the BBP? Btw I always trade at P100k & sell at +.50% and higher. I am more of a trader than an investor, is stock market the right investment for me?

  44. DEVIL’S ADVOCATE HERE: And, I want to learn: , If the PSEI top dog Stocks listed on the list are the cream of the crop, if I was to purchase them, wouldn’t I be buying at too high of a price? Or is there enough volatility, to where I can watch them, then buy them low, one or two by two, when they tank to the floor? then hold on to them, until the correct?

    • Hi, William. Yes, that’s the point of making the data above, the TP are their Fair Value so if you buy below the BBP, you’re not buying too high 🙂 These companies are well established and have good fundamentals mostly, so not too volatile compared to other companies out there. Just avoid the risky sectors like casinos, tech, oil etc. You know the game. Cheers!

Okay, in about a month, I will have set aside, for OUR experiment, at my risk, 100K..Yes, 100,000 php to invest in your top, yippy, OMG stock list…We should wait to see the FED morons mess up the market in December, but buy them when it tanks…I know you cannot legally do it for me, but you can hold my hand here and advise me…Act as if the money is yours, what would you do? Now, remember, this is not UITF, this is your topper stock list and and lets see how we all do here, over the next year, or so, unless I drop dead..LOL Are you in Miss Fehl? Is this legal for you to do? All you need to do is post post post, link me link me link me, and I will invest and post the results and you can watch it also…When you have time, let me know

    • I won’t advise you to invest on all the 30. Just pick some after being convinced at the trends or after contemplating what work for you. You can also check out your Equity Funds latest Fund Fact Sheets and see their Top Holdings to have ideas as well

      • Now that is a good idea, but from the lack of interest to spend others money and see what happens, and learn something, I will stick with the UITF’s, since I am earning so well no

      • @ King Pinoy…I fully agree with you, but I would not need to do so, since Miss Fehl, has a great list for me to chose from and me being an outsider, this would not be a community effort, if I did it on my own…Blogs are communal, in nature, and done all around the world do, especially in blogs, and that is to engaged in the community effort, or what we call, Esprit de Corp, (eˌsprē də ˈkôr/ a feeling of pride, fellowship, and common loyalty shared by the members of a particular group. I researched it)

My idea was to give an opportunity to people who would otherwise not be able to afford to invest, 100K, maybe not even 1K, with no risk to them and for them to see what happens and hopefully, excite them to do the same…Most people here earn, maybe, I said maybe, 12K to 15K a month and spend, 15K to 18K a month, needing to borrow at 5K/6K, which as King, you would know this

Some people her might be afraid to invest in stocks, with their hard earned fund, especially for the first time…None of this is for me, I personally do not need the money, or headaches from stocks, which are manipulated, I have enough excitement from the equity roller coaster ride, caused by the stock market, within the pie chart of my UITF funds…I currently invested over 3.5 million, plus 250K in savings, and more in other funds, such as a dollar fund, so I am not doing this for the money…I put a lot of work into my posts…I am doing this to see others succeed, to feel their excitement

The people here, would listen better to Miss Fehl’s choices, not mine…Again, as I said, being an outsider…How much fund ( FUN 🙂 )would it be if I was to do it on my own, and then 6 months later, come back here and say, “Wow Miss Fehl, I invested in this and that, then flipped them, and it made money….” Who would believe me here, with comments such as yours, which brought the professionalism of this life saving blog into question, as if it was FaceBook, or something; however, with the talents of miss Fehl’s input, people would feel safer and more comfortable investing in stocks for the first time, if I was guided, by her and we watched them, together, and shared the good and bad, ups and downs…Like your Bonds LOL

I am blessed to have what I have…I know for a fact, every penny I have now, was given to me, by the hand of God, to do good and live a good life, this is why I invest it, so I can spend more, on others, not me…My family is set for life…I always tell people, it is God’s money not mine, so it is my responsibility and obligation to return something to others who have less

Your subjects King Pinoy, are starving, very poor, and lack education, many being single mothers, with no future, regardless of income, or level in the community, all need to learn to save and invest SOMETHING NO MATTER HOW LITTLE, so they can…. some day….be kings and queens of their kingdoms, within their own minds…They need to start somewhere, and that somewhere is here…Our Helen Keller said, ” I know I cannot do everything, but I also know I can do something… I just want to do my something…”

I was also blessed with a wonderful Filipina wife, who grew up in a poor family, becoming more poor, because her wonderful loyal, dedicated, and hard working father, who fathered 6 kids and did not run off with another woman, because his wife was older, or had stretch marks, he stayed to raise his family, stood up to the plate like a real man, and took good care of his family, but when my wife was 12 years old, her and her sister, saw him shot to death, in front their….He was what we call in the USA, a guardian angel, you call them barangay citizens on patrol…He was shot 19 times, by 3 cowardly men, who prefer to invest their time and money in drugs not stocks and bonds…Now, this wonderful father left behind 6 kids, 4 girls and 2 boys, who lived in a 2 room house where everyone slept in one room, on the floor with their widowed mother, often no electricity, or water, unable to pay the bills and never once lowered themselves to wire jumping or hot wire, to steal electricity…One of those kids, later became a single mother of 2 children, because her husband preferred to run off with another woman and not support his own blood and God given children, forcing them to live in a ghetto life…So at age 26, that single mother married me LOL

I chose to accept her and her two kids, into my life, and making her my wife ( even though your subjects, King Pinoy, refer to her, as used goods) and her two kids, are now our kids, giving them a real chance, a real future…Now her kids think I am their real father, because they were very young, when I courted my wife..So, for me to see them act makulit, scream and cause my hair to fall out, then hear them call me daddy, I am not sure if I should cry with joy, or laugh at their father, who walked away, leaving two wonderful kids to starve to death…

Every morning she tells me mahal, thank you for everything you have done, for us…The house is cleaned 100% every morning before we go to the mall for coffee at French Cafe, then lunch at Adobo Connection…I am very grateful to her cowardly husband, who did not have the balut to keep such a perfect wife and brilliant kids…These kids are so smart and polite, all of our neighbors are sure they are half American and tell us so…Sometimes, I think it also, because they are so well mannered, so bright, and so aware of life, my wife and I joke, well Daddy ko, these must be your kids, after all

Not long ago, we had an attempted break-in, at our house, while I am here in America on family business, so she walked to the barangay to file a blotter, and once done, knowing I am gone, the barangay captain was kind enough to offer to drive her and our neighbor home. The barangay officer contacted one of your I guess, city councilmen, part of the mayors board? And, he offered to go along also and inspect the house…They drove to our house, got out of the van, and waited for my wife to open the door, and they walked in with her and inspected the inside of the house, to make sure no one was in there, hiding, because the door and one of the locks, was damaged…As soon as they saw the house, they said, “OH Yes, your husband is the American!” She said, you forgot? He said yes, until I see the 3 locks on the door, and they both laughed…I say this because, we give back to the community, in many ways, but only able to do so, from investing, not working..I am retired and have no pension, only my savings, until age 62.5 to get Social Security.

Now my wife and our kids, sleep in real beds, in their room, yes they share one of the 4 bedrooms we have…They have pillows, eat real food, brown rice, not white, have tons of books to read, and answer questions posed by Mickey Mouse since they are able to watch the Disney channel…And yes, they do watch the program, “On the money,” with me, I think it is on ANC, or CBN, but mostly I listen to the Christian radio channel which has on the money…In closing, King Pinoy, I only wanted to help others, since this is a blog, or community of like minded people…I was hoping to get those here, excited about the whole new world, of financial independence, and wealth management, so once more my most humble apologize King Pinoy, and I will continue to invest in my UITF’s, on my own, salamat po, for the sound advice and remember, everyone reading this, find your something and do it, because, as you can see, few want you to make it and run ahead of them
