Since the beginning of 2014, I have already seen different stock market outlooks, all of which presenting positive forecast about PSEI to hit 10,000 soon. This 2015, the latest report from COL PCG also talked about it. What does it has to do with us? It is a great thing for us investors because even though the stock market is slowly recovering from the disappointing performance the past few months, there is still a brighter opportunity in the Philippine stock market.
To summarize what I’ve learned from different presentations, here are the tips I’d like to share here which I think will keep us more positive:
- The Philippines has the Best Fundamental Long Term Story Globally
- The Philippines is in its Best Demographic Sweet Spot among ASEAN countries
- Focus investing more into these sectors: (BPPI) Bank, Power, Property, and Infrastructure
- Be wiser in stock picking and flipping stocks.
- Invest for long term, it always works.
And now, our monthly report here following our Magic 10 stock picks:
MER has reached our Target Price so we sold our stocks making generous profit and some dividends, too. In case you missed it, here’s the article about MER. We welcomed CEB, replacing MER to complete our F5 stocks. There’s another post here why we chose CEB. Happy that AC, MBT and SMPH are all getting closer to our Targets. Cheers for that!
We made a total of 55.64% gains, an average of 11.13% taking into account the 5 stocks above.
I’m more than impressed with ALI and BDO despite of everything, they’re stronger than ever. JFC, SM and URC are snorkeling and performing poorly but we don’t complain because it is a good thing to buy. URC is making it up to us again because it is climbing the charts once more. We made a total of 3.16% gains, very lower compared from the last few months.
These Big 5 stocks are for long term and it is cool following PCA method, minimizing risks by making periodic investments for long term. Let’s not forget the dividends we make as we invest and grow our stocks with B5. Like BDO, it gives us cash every quarter. I’m really not complaining about it, are you?
